OUR MANIFESTO

BASIC PRINCIPLES

  1. It upholds 'dignity' of the individual and 'human values' of all citizens, and follow the philosophy of universal love, Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.
  2. It upholds equality and equal application of laws to all irrespective of rich or poor.
  3. Always ensures equity and justice to the poor and other marginalized.
  4. Empowers the poor Christians, Muslim minorities and other marginalized sections of the Society with special emphasis on Youth and Women in political, economic and educational spheres.
  5. Ensures to prevent domination of only a few sections and ensures equitable participation of marginalized sections of the society, in political, economic and educational spheres and equitable distribution of powers.
  6. Believes in Collective Leadership and Responsibility, transparency and accountability in administration.
  7. Prevents 'corruption' at all levels both political and administrative, establishes appropriate "Institutions of Vigilance" at all levels to check corruption and deal with it severely.

SOCIAL POLICY

  1. Fights to secure 'Schedule Caste Status' to Dalit Christians and Dalit Muslims on par with the Dalits of other religions.
  2. Fights legally against the atrocities perpetrated against the Dalit Christians and Dalit Muslims other marginalized sections, especially against their Women by communal groups, other individuals, and secures legal aid and relief to the victims from the Government.

RELIGIOUS POLICY

  1. Ensures absolute Religious freedom to practice, preach and propagate ones faith without any hindrance.
  2. 'Communal and Religious' attacks on Religious and Educational institutions of Minorities and on persons manning them, shall be severely dealt by establishing Special Courts.

ECOMOMIC AND DEVELOPMENTAL POLICIES

  1. Believes in 'Socialistic Economy' by ensuring equitable distribution of wealth and preventing its concentration in a few hands through appropriate policies.
  2. All "Government Resources" shall be so utilized always as to sub-serve the public good as against the private interest.
    The party opposes "Private Economy," in all 'Core Sectors' of development. Government shall reserve exclusive rights in such core sectors.
  3. However the party encourages "Public-Private Partnership" in which public interest shall always prevail over the Private.
  4. 4) The Party believes in development with environmental balance and development of backward regions and areas.

BASIC NEEDS

  1. Ensures minimum basic needs of Food, Clothing Housing, Drinking Water, Sanitation and Health to Rural and Urban poor families on priority.
  2. Provides essential commodities i.e., twenty (20) Kgs of Rice/Wheat, half (½ )Kg Cooking oil and one (1) Kg pulses and other cooking ingredients at fifty percent (50%) of the cost, to all families whose income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/-(Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum, through public distribution system by strengthening the same. Any lapses in the 'delivery system' shall be severely dealt with.
  3. Forty five percent (45%) of the Weaker Sections Housing implemented by the Government shall be earmarked for Schedule Castes,Schedule Tribes, Dalit Christians and Muslim Minorities, thirty five percent (35%) to Backward Classes and the remaining to the other poorer sections.
  4. Provides ' Protected Water Supply' to every village and ensures good sanitation in rural and urban areas. Provides land for burial grounds in urban and rural areas at Government cost including facilities like water and power and protect them from encroachment.
  5. Provides "Free Health Insurance" to all poor families whose income does not exceed Rs.1, 50,000/- (Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum and at fifty percent (50%) of the cost, to all families whose income is below Rs.2,50000/-(but above Rs.1,50,000/-) per annum.
  6. 'Public Health System' shall be strengthened by upgrading Government Health Centers and Hospitals by providing them with adequate supply of medicines, modern equipment and facilities comparable to the Corporate Hospitals to ensure cheaper health care.

SOCIAL SECURITY

  1. Old age pensions at Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) per month shall be sanctioned to all senior and indigent citizens above sixty (60) years of age, including ' indigent physically challenged' whose age is fifteen years and above.
  2. It intends to provide economic one time assistance to all families In all indigent circumstances such as death, accidents, funerals etc, to an extent of Rs.7500/- (Rupees seven thousand and fifty only)

EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE

  1. Ensures access to uniform free 'Quality Education' up to Secondary level to all boys and up to Intermediate level to all girls, whose family income does not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two lakhs and fifty thousand only) per annum.
  2. One (1) "Residential School of Excellence" to each Mandal/Tahsil apart from the existing Welfare Residential Schools, shall be established with medium of English or Mother Tongue or both.
  3. Provides free of cost Books, Uniform and other Educational material, to the students whose family income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum up to Secondary Level to the boys and upto Intermediate level to the girls.
  4. All students shall be granted reasonable amount of 'Scholarships' on time up to the Post Graduate level including Professional Courses, whose family income does not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand only) per annum.
  5. Schedule Tribes, Schedule Castes, Dalit Christians, Muslim Minorities and other Backward Classes, in that order shall be given priority in sanction of Scholarships.

TRANINING AND EMPLOYMENT OF YOUTH AND THEIR DEVELOPMENT

  1. Skill Development Training shall be imparted free of cost to all Craftsmen and Vocational Groups, whose family income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum.
  2. Provides 'adequate training' to Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes, Dalit Christians, Muslim Minorities and Backward Classes students, to successfully face all the competitive examinations to enter public and private service.
  3. It contemplates providing 'Employment' to youth both in public and private services by imparting training through the centers established or sponsored by the Government, to enable them face the competitive examinations, and interviews.
  4. Provides employment under NREGP and other State programmes, for at least two (2) members of the family whose income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum.
  5. Social Audit shall be strictly implemented to prevent the misuse of funds under NREGP and all other Government programs.
  6. To empower the youth , politically by providing atleast 25% of seats in local body election.

ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE

  1. Implements various through "Subsidies and Bank Loans" at fifty percent (50%) subsidized interest rates, to Schedule Tribes, Schedule Castes, Dalit Christians, Muslim Minorities and Backward Classes and to other marginalized sections of the Society whose family income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum to start Self Employment schemes. A minimum of 25% in the schemes is reserved for youth.
  2. Adequate Technical Training shall be given to the beneficiaries where necessary in all productive schemes.

WOMEN AND CHILDREN

  1. Thirty three one third (33 1/3) percent of reservations shall be provided to Women in their respective 'Social categories' to empower them in all political, economic and educational fields in the Nation and 50% reservation in Local Bodies.
  2. 'Self Help Groups' shall be encouraged in rural and urban areas, for poor families whose income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum by providing interest free loans.
  3. The Women shall be empowered through appropriate institutions and training, in political, economic and educational spheres with special care.
  4. There shall be 'Special welfare Schemes' both economic and other schemes to provide good Nutrition & Health care to Women and Children whose family income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- per annum.

EXCISE POLICY

  1. Excise policy of the State shall be implemented in such a way,' as to protect the poor by 'total prohibition of cheap liquor' and strictly implementing the same.

AGRICULTURE

  1. Provides 'Free Crop Insurance' at Government cost to all farmers whose family income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum.
  2. Farmers shall be provided with suitable assistance through bank loans on 50% subsidize interest and encouraged to sink individual bore wells for minor irrigation purposes.
  3. Provides agricultural implements, good seeds and fertilizers at subsidized rates to all farmers whose family income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- per annum.
  4. Guarantees power supply to 'Agriculture' for those families whose income does not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh and fifty thousand only) per annum.

LABOUR AND WAGE POLICY

  1. The Party ensures strict implementation of various Labour laws in all establishments. Ensures strict implementation of minimum wage policy in organized and unorganized sectors and provides pension to old age workers above 60 years.

LAGRICULTURE LABOUR

  1. While ensuring the minimum wages to the Agriculture Labour, proper facilities shall be provided at work place in drinking water, shelter for rest at lunch times etc. Special facilities such as "Crèches" shall be provided for working mothers to take care of their children.

SENIOR CITIZENS

  1. Old age homes with suitable medical and recreational facilities shall be provided to all the needy Senior Citizens. All laws enacted for protection of senior citizen shall strictly be implemented.
